Once a Surrogate applies, an extensive interview and consultation is scheduled to determine eligibility and discuss the surrogacy process.

Once the Surrogate has passed preliminary screening, her profile will be published in the database and Intended Parents will view her profile.

We consider the type of relationship that the Intended Parents and the Surrogate desire. Whether you are looking for someone who can become a lasting friend or simply want to assist a couple in need, we make sure to match based on your unique preferences.
Personality
Since surrogacy is a long process, we ensure compatibility between the Intended Parents and Surrogate to facilitate an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for both.
Geography
We coordinate with Intended Parents within the US and internationally, and we offer paid travel for all surrogacy-related appointments. Depending on the journey, locale can play an important role in fostering great relationships.
Timing
It’s crucial that the Surrogate and Intended Parents have the same expectations about timing. We work with both parties to ensure Intended Parents and Surrogates fully understand and are comfortable with their expected journey timeline.

We believe that each match is unique, and we’re happy to facilitate special requests if all parties are in accord. Our customizable benefits packages are designed around both you and your Intended Parents’ wishes.

We are former intended parents, repeat surrogates, and lifelong fertility advocates with over two decades of experience facilitating fertility journeys. Our focus is on ethical practices, transparency, and individualized care.

To be approved for surrogacy, you typically need to meet the following criteria, determined by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the restrictions from IVF clinics with which we frequently partner:
Age & Citizenship: You are between 21-39 years old and a U.S. citizen.
Pregnancy: You have had at least one healthy full-term pregnancy, no more than five deliveries, and no more than three C-sections.
Health & BMI: You have a BMI under 34 (many clinics prefer under 32) to limit potential risk factors from IVF medication.
Drug/Alcohol Use: You are a non-smoker with no drug or substance abuse history.
Stability & Environment: You have a stable home environment, reliable income, and a strong support system. You can pass a medical and psychological screening as well as a background check.
Lifestyle & Restrictions: You are prepared to follow IVF protocols and attend appointments via reliable transportation. -
Once you complete your surrogate profile with our team, we will recommend you to intended parents we think may make a great match. They will also be able to view you in our private database.
If a parent shows interest and approves your benefits package, we will share their profile with you. If you both agree to meet, we schedule a virtual “match meeting” alongside your case manager. A match commences if you and the intended parents agree to move forward.

Compensation can typically range from $60,000-$100,000+ depending on experience, location, and various other factors.
We value empowerment at every step, so we allow you to set your desired amount based on your level of comfort.

On top of coordinating each aspect of your surrogacy journey, Genesis surrogates receive monthly therapy sessions, access to our private surrogate group, and consistent communication with your case manager.
We also invite surrogates in active journeys to our biannual Surrogacy Retreat, an all-expenses-paid weekend experience to connect and relax with fellow surrogates, your case manager, and our team.
